Optimizing Reverse Transfer Policies and Processes: Lessons from Twelve CWID States - In 2012, five foundations launched the Credit When It’s Due (CWID) initiative to encourage partnerships of community colleges and universities to expand programs that award associate degrees to transfer students when the student completes the requirements for the associate degree while pursuing a bachelor’s degree, also known as “reverse transfer.” This describes changes occurring at the state, system, and institution levels with implementation of reverse transfer in 12 CWID states. The Road Less Traveled: Realizing the Potential of Career Technical Education in the California Community Colleges - This report examines four high-wage, high-need career pathways in the California Community Colleges as a basis for exploring the Career Technical Education (CTE) mission and its role in the college completion agenda.
